Confirmation Class
Confirmation classes will be offered for youth who are 12-15 years of age. The classes will begin on February 10th and run for six weeks until March 16th. The classes will begin at 12:25 P.M. following the second worship service and last approximately one hour. We will meet in the Robey Room. In Confirmation, the student will have opportunities to ask questions about their faith and the Christian religion. They will learn about God as the Holy Trinity, the importance of Jesus life, death and resurrection, the teachings of the Bible and church history. They will also discover the many ways in which our faith is celebrated and shared through service and mission work. On Easter, the student will publicly affirm the faith into which they were baptized at the 9:00A.M. worship service. Please notify the church office by February 2nd so materials can be ordered. SUNDAY SCHOOL
Lakeside offers a complete Sunday School
Program for all ages. Sunday school begins at 10:15am which allows for the
youth to attend either the 9:00am service or the 11:15am service. For more information contact the church office at 301-870-8707.
New Classes Lakeside is
offering Disciple III and IV this fall. If you are interested in either of
